ELECTRONIC SECURITY SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Alarmguard Security, Inc. seeks an experienced Technician in Burg systems, Fire Systems, Access, and CCTV. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the electronic security industry. Clean Criminal and Driving records. Family-owned business for 32+ years. Good compensation package. Send resume, including call back number.
Responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial and residential alarm systems such as closed-circuit video, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and fire/life safety protection. Test and inspect fire systems according to NFPA code. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of industry experience as a security field service technician, experience in both commercial and residential environments, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly. Technician Duties Include:
*Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times while on jobs and being able to resolve customers concerns with exceptional communication skills
*Properly and clearly explaining system functions and operations to customers
*Completing all necessary paperwork and properly tracking all field inventory
*Assisting in providing our customers with the highest level of security available by suggesting upgrades
*Driving and arriving on time to each appointment
*Maintaining a professional appearance at all times while on jobs
Preferred Criteria:
*Experience with installing and servicing electronic security, fire systems, access and CCTV.
*A working knowledge of Honeywell, GE, and DMP products a plus.
*Ability to install, program, test, and troubleshoot common issues and strong computer skills a must.
* Self-motivated, self-disciplined with solid time management and organizational skills.
